The mighty edifice of the Nation-State is a glorious thing to behold. It towers imperiously above you as you dutifully play your civic role in keeping the Great Treadmill turning. Decked out in the national colours, it boasts huge frescoes illustrating your country’s origins, its traditions, its heroes and its martyrs.

But those proposing a transhumanist Great Reset have maneuvered to make suspect our identity of belonging to a common humanity. Too many of those opposing The Great Reset believe the only answer is to defend their nation-state to the death...The "sacred" modern nation-state, which is only four-hundred years old and survives by shutting the door on our original past for the benefit of the corporate state...
I used to read some of his short stories (travel, can't remember) way back, real anarchistic in spirit, questioning the system as he experienced it. Was he not from the same era of hunter thompson?
