This is really great Paul! If our Media wasn't a tool for the ruling class this interview should be published in every newspaper and online outlet!
RE: ...my research has shown me how the British Empire was the basis for the phenomenon that today we know as “globalisation” or the global capitalist system. Right from the days of the East India Company, the British flag was merely a cover for private financial interests and that has never changed.
Is this just a feature of the British Empire or of capitalism itself as they seemed to evolve together?
As you are likely aware many in the (health) freedom movement believe that globalization is not capitalism and that "genuine" capitalism is the path to freedom...
Thanks. Yes, I think that the British and then US empires are one and the same thing as the entity that many of us always called "capitalism", even though I have latterly understood that the term is a disputed one... Words can be a barrier to communication!
I’ve been coming to this conclusion as well. It’s always seemed odd to me that the US stopped rebelling against Britain at some point and transitioned toward assuming the mantle to impose imperial control over Britain’s old empire, as well as Spain’s, under the new guise of ‘spreading democracy and fighting communism’.
It also seems that ‘fighting communism’ is a cover for eroding the gains for human rights of the various revolutions against the depraved excesses of monarchies, in order to reimpose the power of monarchy to enrich not only the so-called Royals, but also the dark array of aristocrats who enforce and therefore also benefit from the system.
Why else would the US, a supposed republic committed to the ideals of self-rule, side diplomatically with dictators and monarchs? Why should Spain submit once again to a king, after years of fascist dictatorship?
I think this does the best job I've seen, in 1 paragraph, of summarizing the malevolence behind '15 minute cities.' Concision is powerful. Thanks Paul.
What a confoberation of nonsense. I can't read it anymore. The article is fine...it the subject matter that makes me want to puke. I am tired of puking.
