When we think about the make-up of the global system, we tend to think in terms of nation-states like the USA, Britain, France and Germany and of international institutions such as NATO and the EU.

A BRICS by any other name is the same old sound of boot heels crushing any real attempt at a meaningful, dignified life. This assemblage of corrupt nation-states with tyrannical leaders taking advantage of their hypnotized masses is no different than the Five Eyes crowd except for "colorful" cultural variations. Dominator culture is always controlled by fake Big Men using fake nationalism and patriotism to build up a fake jingoistic pride in what lies inside the borders of artificially constructed nation-states. Does that mean, to take one example, that Lula is no better than Bolsonaro? No. He is marginally better than an out and out thug. But that's not enought for those of us hoping to live free of toxic commercialism, patriarchy, and the commodification of everything.

Of course, this dystopian nightmare will gain some acceptance with the help of state-run mainstream media news and social media platforms who'll deceive viewers by deploying benevolent terms like "sustainability" while also displaying a disingenuous interest in public health.
However, the true intent is to utilize pharmacology to exploit and control humanity, while the word sustainability is actually code for commodifying/exploiting every aspect of the natural environment.
So in effect, multipolarism is embraced by trillion dollar asset management firms like BlackRock's Larry Fink, the World Economic Forum, and the UN/WHO. In fact, all the usual ghoulish suspects find multipolarism desirable and welcome it as they believe it'll expedite Agenda 2030, thus "The Great Reset."
One Achilles Heel is us knowing what they are doing. They rely on the consent they have manufactured with their layers of lies, because if they had to rely on sheer brute force everywhere they could not maintain their power for very long. They are few and we are many. That's why there is so much panic about dangerous "conspiracy theories", "disinformation" and so on, with all the censorship and "fact-checking" they deploy to try to keep the lid on the truth they so fear being known.
We have been played for a long time... communities like the Cathars in the Middle Ages where burnt alive because they did not align with the Catholic Church. I wonder, how can we get away... ? The Pilgrims did it (in a way the real founders of U.S.A.), but apparently (I do not know to what extend this is true), the shadowy powers took over again, and slowly turned U.S.A. into what we have now... so sad.
