Macron represents the interests of international financiers, one being BlackRock whose offices the protesters surrounded. Something that would never occur in the US, as most don't even know there's massive relentless protests in France, or that BlackRock is an asset management firm which is actually a mobster operation.
The coverage on MSM and especially MSNBC regarding the demonstrations has been despicable.
Commentators like Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski who each earn much more than $8 million a year mock the protesters. If they happen to show a 30 second clip it'll be with hardly anyone demonstrating on the street. On Monday, Scarborough called the French workers lazy for objecting to an increase in pension age from 62 to 64 and then said they should be more like workers in China (a hint of things to come) as he sits with his spook panel each day warmongering, or advancing the official security state narrative

Today, Mika celebrated her birthday with Richard Haass cheerleading for more death and destruction in Ukraine. And the two were so thrilled with McCarthy for telling a Russian reporter when in Israel that he fully supports the funding of the Ukraine war and said Russia should get out.
But I digress, the point being we're in a "global Empire" where nation-state rulers are viewed as management in a worldwide gangster enterprise where billions are just dismissed as collateral damage.

ASIDE FROM THE YOUTH who obviously for reasons of energy and idealism were at the center, I met Parisians of every stripe who were aware that what was happening was connected to their history, from 1789 through 1848 and 1871...The Theatre Odeon was seized, the stage open for anyone to speak, and while the mic was often grabbed by young orating windbags, the entire event was very emotional. Jammed into a plush velvet box overlooking the stage, I noticed many of those around me, advanced in age, had tears in their eyes. Regardless that les evenements finally failed after three weeks because THERE WAS NO REAL PLAN, they were a glimpse of a collective human destiny. I'll never forget the first day, a sunny May afternoon, with people suddenly pouring into the streets from out of nowhere without doubt or hesitation
I think we're seeing just the beginning of all this... Since still it seems a rather smallish minority of the Five Eyes countries, Anglo-Saxon, English-speaking, blase and dumbed-down crowds of people waiting in line for junk food and bad music...
When people get serious about the coming tyranny, they will quickly tire of being beaten up by thuggish mercenaries and the real Lions will be loosed and we'll start to see some progress, because we STILL outnumber the Bad Guys by BILLIONS. The thing I'll never understand about protestors...don't they know police are going to be there with the express intent of busting heads? If so, why don't they plan for it? One reason is perhaps most people who feel injustice are good people who naively believe that just by showing up as decent human beings, they will be considered/treated as such.
