Prompted by this piece into reflecting on the concept of “anti” just now, it occurred to me that one could make the case that the cardinal (“seven deadly”) sins (pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth) have been all-but-officially converted to virtues in the eyes of the gods of consumerism. Just sayin'.

I guess many feel the same way without the ability to put it all in words.. I'd add organized religion to what I am feeling alienated from just as I hate the shift to a new paradigm of modern, hollow and selective morality of Western thought leaders mainly. They were right to condemn the Pol Pots of this world at the time but today they don't see themselves as the Pol Pots of our time.. ( from Johannesburg)

I'm against, the fast-developing totalitarian biosecurity surveillance state controlled by nutcase billionaire techno/fascists. 🤔

"But in truth industrialism (including the arms industry, of course) is the physical manifestation of the system and the means by which it carries out its imperialism." - this is why I am a Luddite...

The antidote to a system of rule by psychopaths and sociopaths (i.e. a “pathocracy”) is a logocracy. See https://www.systemsthinker.com/interests/systemsthinking/humansystems/pathocracy.shtml (where “logocracy” is described near the end of the article) and https://ponerology.substack.com/p/logocracy-chapter-1-introduction if you’re interested. It’s going to (essentially and ultimately) require a new version of humanity, if cultural evolution can do it. If it can’t, I think that our species will go extinct, after a prolonged period of the most excruciating and intense and acute suffering imaginable. Making normal people suffer is the goal of the malignantly narcissistic and psychopathic rulers, who the masses tolerate — How liberal of us! — to be our leaders.

Yes, I agree that the good thing that could come out of this nightmare is that it advances humankind to a new level of understanding, including, as you say, built-in resistance to the same kind of thing ever happening again.

Cultural revolution, did you say? Would you like to move to China, LOL.

We don’t have humanity yet, we just need the actual version. :) The Israeli, Chinese and Indian stereotypes represent what needs to go and natural selection will happen sooner or later! Since the Earth is intelligent beyond our capacity to understand, it is easy to forget she is there at all, but she can do a real “great reset” at any moment, and will. It is literally a matter of time.

Cultural evolution, not “revolution”.

So our species, Homo sapiens, hasn’t achieved “humanity” yet, you say. Good to know. Something to look forward to.

Maybe we are up against these things because we give them power by acknowledging their existence. Perhaps ignoring them (which they hate) and refusing to submit to their being anything other than nuisances. Because we engage in some manner, we are trapped looking for a way to escape when we need not have walked into the trap to begin with.

"the psychopathic system"

The root of the psychopathic system is religious and defined in Judaism:

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/344428721_The_Psychopathological_Profile_of_the_Biblical_God_Called_Yhwh_Yahweh_A_Psychological_Investigation_Into_the_Behaviour_of_The_Judaic-Christian_God_Described_in_The_Biblical_Old_Testament

And all evils that you mentioned before can also be derived from it, e.g. Communism:

https://www.come-and-hear.com/dilling/chapt11.html

The enemies of humanity are therefore the chosen people of that psychopathic god, who, moreover, have never tried to conceal that they are not part of it. The religions that they have imposed on the world contained the theological version of their agenda in the guise of messianism.
